Retreats

Come join me for my soul-centering-solution generating-sizzling ladies luxury divorce retreat! I promise, it will be a weekend to cherish for years to come.

There are all kinds of classes and books about how to fill out divorce forms,
calculate budgets, and “get divorced”. There are lawyers who will explain “the law” and tell you, whether correct or not, what a judge may do in your case.

But there is very little wisdom available about how to make your best choices in divorce, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed, burned-out, and confused… until now.

Now, in one luxurious weekend, you can gain the knowledge and support you need to confidently make your best choices in divorce.

Four times a year, I invite a small group of women to break away for an unforgettable retreat at a beautiful resort and spa in California. I would love for you to join me.

Untitled-1

In this intimate, supportive, and safe environment we will focus on you, your divorce, your future. You will learn how to make decisions in every phase of your divorce that are right for you. We will roll up our sleeves and tackle the biggest issues you are facing so you can get clear about what you want and take powerful action in your divorce and life. You will tap into my divorce expertise and learn from the thousands of decisions I have helped divorcing women make over the last 20 years as a divorce attorney and mediator.

Revelations and epiphanies will make your divorce feel less burdensome, and the decisions you are making, less “life or death”. Collaboration will help open your eyes to never seen before options. Connection will make you feel supported and lead to lifelong friendships that buoy you through this life transition. (Yes, it is that good.)

At this luxurious three day retreat you will:

Escape the rigors and stress of day-to-day life. No chores, spouses, kids, work. You get to relax, be pampered, and focus entirely on you. This is your time to restore and reconnect.

  • Discover what matters most and learn how to use that knowledge to make decisions in divorce that are not influenced by societal pressures.
  • Examine the issues you are, or may be facing in your divorce so you know what you may be up against and can be prepared.
  • Brainstorm your options with me and use my divorce, business, and real estate expertise gained over the last 20 years during my career as a divorce attorney.
  • Gain rich insights into the inner workings of the legal system known only to judges, veteran divorce attorneys, and the court’s staff. There are infinite possibilities for resolving divorce disputes and common pitfalls to avoid. I will personally explore many with you so you can use this insider’s information.
  • Develop a personal action plan that you will begin using immediately in your divorce. With step-by-step strategies, you will feel ready to take the next best steps to move forward and through your divorce.
  • Receive my professional guidance and personal attention before, during and after the retreat. Once you are registered, we will speak for 30 minutes prior to the retreat so you can make the most of this incredible opportunity. During the retreat we will be doing group activities daily, and you’ll have one-on-one time with me scheduled throughout the weekend. Once you return home from our time together, we’ll be speaking again to give you the support and encouragement you need to make your best choices.
  • Learn how to effectively communicate your needs and ask for what you want. Whether negotiating directly with your husband, speaking to your lawyer or mediator or presenting your argument to a judge, you can be unwaveringly true to yourself.
  • Connect with a group of extraordinary women who are committed to making their best choices in divorce. Share experiences, exchange ideas, and build friendships that last a lifetime.
  • Indulge in the resort’s amenities…a massage or facial at the spa, a dip in the pool, a round of tennis or golf, yoga, hiking. The opportunities for fun and relaxation surround you. Partake.
  • Enjoy delicious California cuisine. Fresh fruits, pastries, juices; salads, sandwiches, smoothies; and of course, desserts.
  • Explore magical Calistoga and nearby Napa wine country, float in mineral pools under the stars or dine on farm fresh organics in town.
  • Come away from the retreat feeling confident and renewed knowing that you have the tools and support you need to make your best choices in divorce; those that are aligned with who you are and what you value.

Your Retreat Hostess

Helene L. Taylor, Esq.

Helene L. Taylor, Esq.

I am divorced. I am a divorce attorney, mediator, strategist, coach, author, and successful business woman. I believe in your ability to make the best choices in your divorce; those that are aligned with who you are and what you value. I also understand that the complexity and heightened emotions associated with divorce can leave you feeling overwhelmed and well intentioned friends and family may add to the confusion. For these reasons and many others, I created this luxury divorce retreat, which, like shelter in a storm, provides a safe environment where you can relax, reevaluate, and relaunch with a strategy for making your best choices in divorce.

I have so much to share with you at the retreat, where you will come to know me better, but in the meantime, you can learn more about my personal and professional background by reading my biography and what some of my former clients, many of whom are now my friends, have to say (here, or the testimonials’ page.)

Helene is clear, patient, and so very kind during a stressful time. She has great suggestions about how to save money and knows the ins and outs of family law. Had I not worked with Helene, I could have ended up in a terrible financial state. Divorce is awful and Helene helped me survive it and have a good future. I cannot recommend her highly enough. ~Jane, Palo Alto, CA

I am in a continuous state of wonder about what would have happened to me had I not found Helene and enlisted her help or had she not been flexible and vigilant enough to stay with me in my recurring nightmare of a case. I am extremely grateful. ~Emma, Oakland, CA
